One thing I notice a lot in FF is how quickly people begin monitoring themselves the moment pleasure starts building. They start wondering: “Am I clean?” “Do I look strange?” “Is this normal?” I think a lot of what people describe as “intense” is sometimes divided attention.

FF Myth #2: "If someone enjoys FF, they must enjoy pain." Pain isn’t the goal. Many people describe fisting as intimate, pleasurable, or surprisingly relaxing. The actual experience is often very different from what outsiders imagine. 👊✨

FF Myth #1: "You’ll become permanently loose." Your sphincters are muscles (not one-time-use rubber bands). They’re made to expand and return. Like a deep stretch after a workout, you can feel different for a bit afterward. But “loose forever” is more fear-based shorthand than actual anatomy. 👊✨

What’s something about FF that you used to believe that’s changed over time? ✨👊

I think a lot beginners are surprised by how emotional FF can feel at first. When you slow down enough to finally be present in your body, things can come up that you weren’t expecting. 👊✨

From your POV: what’s something people get wrong about fisting? 👊🏼✨

PnP is one of those topics people either sensationalize immediately or avoid talking about altogether. But I don’t think most people are simply chasing substances. A lot of the time, I think people are searching for relief. Wrote more about this in today’s newsletter. ↓👊✨

I hear it all the time: “I wish I could go deeper.” “I want to take doubles.” But you can’t rush something your body hasn’t agreed to yet. Take your time and enjoy the experience. Ironically, people often reach their goals sooner once they stop trying to force them. 👊✨

I think some people underestimate how much communication shapes a good FF experience. Small things like checking in, adjusting pace, or saying “pause for a second” can completely change the experience. The best sessions usually feel collaborative (not performative). 👊✨

In FF play, you get further when you stop trying to get further... 👊✨

One of the most unexpected parts of this work has been seeing how emotional people can become when they finally let themselves be vulnerable in their body. A client once told me, “when you told me to breathe, that’s when I felt safe to let go.” That moment stayed with me. 👊✨

FFriendly reminder: the body doesn’t respond to urgency. Take your time, stay present, breathe, and enjoy yourself. Fisting is meant to be a bit silly. 👊✨

I've noticed that a lot of fisting newbies try to push themselves before they’ve learned how to listen and communicate. It's really important to learn these skills in order to have safe and FFun experiences. 👊✨

I know fisting can be something people feel judged for, especially within the gay community. A lot of that reaction usually comes from sexual insecurity and discomfort. People who are into fisting are just relating to their bodies in a different (and deeper) way. 👊✨
