Given the limited resources this kind of disproportionate policing is a dereliction of duty. 2023 saw 493 pedestrians & cyclist fatalities, none of which involved an e-scooter.

There’s new more secure bike parking appearing in #rdg from @readingcouncil.bsky.social a unexpected benefit is that they make your bike more stable when it’s locked. Making getting a child on and off a bike seat much easier! We’ll share some pictures later.

Absolutely stoked been talking to various folks about a mural to capture active travel on one of our many underpasses. Working with a great local artist and literally watch this space in the coming months for a fantastic fusion of local art, local places and active travel coming together.

This bridge was made for people not in cars. We had 90 riders crossing it for a few minutes but great design and able to pass pedestrians. #kidicalmass #safestreets #kidsnotcars

Chestnut Walk is a really great route into town - #carfree, #Scenic #quiet but this last bit had a barrier and no ramp. Blocking a safe route into town for folks from East Reading +Caversham. We solved it by bringing our own ramps.
