Been playing more Xrd to try to prep for Frosty and I swear this is the worst I've felt about my play in like 6 months. Success rate on basic things feel so low even when I'm making the right decisions. Not a great feeling when there's only a month left...

Turns out Arch's default low level audio handler applies ENORMOUS gain to mobo lines by default. Who made this????

OK, audio handling might actually just force me back to windows. I didn't realize that Linux's audio handling was written by people without ears or eyes. I swear, give a programmer endless time and resources and they will write a program that only they can possibly make work
