Our dappled Pie has always enjoyed the heat! Very much a sun baby as much as she is a water baby!

Because of Pixie’s age, K gives her once over exams with vitals tests more than the rest of us. But there’s a limit to how much poking and prodding Pix will take. She raises a back hoof when her limit is reached.

Hackleton, as herd leader, is always on watch over the whole ranch! All creatures, land, water, sky…

The ranch is in a heatwave, and we’re all doing well! Surfer loves keeping his hind end in the sun as he lets it all hang out and takes a good nap while it’s hot. The ranch is in the 90s. Desert GAHQ hit 114 yesterday. We are so glad the horses are in Paso Robles!

K: Pix, why do you and Pie splash water which somehow creates a slime hole next to your water tub? Pixie: We like eating slime. K: *stomach turns* K and J are still figuring out a way to stop this… But they have not yet due to the geological issues of the ground. Sigh.

In today’s #FifaWorldCup news… Hackleton is backing England while Nileist is backing Argentina! May all players finish safe and sound first and foremost! Great luck to everyone!
