Number one issue I have with drawing rn is that I always wish I could draw like someone else. Not necessarily “better” but like, I wish I could ape someone else’s vibe on a project by project basis. Unfortunately, everything I draw will always look like I drew it.

Incredibly endearing cast and the kind of charming, effortless, cartooning that makes me feel like I did reading Octopus Pie in 2013. This is a creator to keep an eye on, I feel absolutely certain everyone will be familiar with their work in ten years.

I finished inking chapter 1 of my book today. It might have taken me one million years but I’m proud to have gotten this far despite things being so tough rn. 🌷

Scarlet Morning is one of the best novels I’ve read in years. A genuinely thrilling pirate adventure that made me feel exactly how I felt as a kid reading Lemony Snicket for the first time.
