Playing Library of Ruina has been so helpful for my game project, nice to play something like what you want to make to realise you're a fan of your own game

Phosphophyllite. Trying out rendering by directly painting colours instead of blending, it was fun if a bit challenging!

Crazy how I went from "I don't want anyone to see my art" to "Brad, they don't want to see an update after every brushstroke"

I got into drawing somewhat because I'd see an indie dev making their game with AI art, when I'd question why, its always "drawing is too hard you can't expect me to do it".

Make it first then make it good right? I think I'm going to start drawing the concept art for the characters of my game project. 6 months definitely isn't enough art practice, but we ball.

Was a great experience having my first playtest of my mechanical prototype. Oh boy did I manage to assume a lot of things were more intuitive than they actually were. I think UX will be this month's focus.

Tonight is my first playtesting session of my game prototype! I've been working on it over the Christmas holiday very intensively, really excited to get it in front of people.
