So watching the hands-on vid about the Steam Machine, it looks a lot like they're targeting a $499 base model,with storage capacity the one flexible option for hardware. For specs it looks like it will run 1080p 60fps for years, but 2K/4K might be questionable and will have to rely on FSR tricks.

Unbelievably excited for the Steam Controller 2, the original had a difficult but worthwhile learning curve that people didn't love enough, but hopefully the steam deck taught enough people how awesome it really is

My Plex server isn't compatible with Win11 but the hardware is fine. I was going to switch it over to a Linux server, but then I found out it's trivially easy to switch Win10 to LTSC. Amazingly easy, like running a script and waiting a few minutes.
