Never forget that Norman Rockwell, debatably the most famous American artist to ever put brush to canvas, was not afraid to show the ugliness along with the good. Having his work/reputation sanitized and trimmed into marketable nostalgia is about American as it gets.

I got my job working on Castlevania by drawing a comic that would be banned under bsky's new sexual content rules. If it was up to these ghouls I wouldn't have had my career Use the feedback form to tell bsky to roll back these harmful policies and let us have creative freedom with a tagging system

actions that will contribute more to pushing against bluesky's censorship than a blackout: -submitting a feedback request -@ing moderation about it -commenting on mods posts about it -making and sharing memes (ex: "i consent!" sticker) -leaving an app store review -just generally posting about it

I have also been added to the "drama" moderation list by someone the CEO is following. I have not been hostile or derogatory towards the bsky mods, only disagreed with their terms. This is a very childish and irresponsible response to widespread concern over the new rules from their userbase

This is a BAD idea from a tactical pov all this means is an issue that bsky mods do NOT want controversy around will have NO posting about it for a full week a large number of people who come back from the "blackout" will likely not start up the complaints again it hamstrings the cause
