I moved the cubby apartment style furniture outside.

Today I go a bit earlier to leave my car at the windshield place. I should be able to borrow a car or bike from them and then pick my car back up at lunchtime.

These cats are too wound up to groom one another.

The cats are happier about outside today. Sunny and almost 10C.

Everything still smells vaguely like fumes, so my respiratory infection still isn’t over. Stopppp.

Got stuff for burgers on my way home. Let the cats out for a few minutes but it’s gray and dreary, so they came back inside again quickly.

Tried the weekend drive time to work and it’s 35 minutes. Also got my CarPlay to work properly - I had to connect my phone physically.

I took the back roads home and then got groceries. The store had cat grass! Fiona approves.

I think I’ll go visit Dragon Gate. Never been there, because it’s definitely a car place.

Hopefully I get a text about my new windshield wiper today. I'm off because I work the weekend, so it sucks a bit having to drive in to Gävle, but I definitely want to solve that problem as soon as possible.

One week with the car. Tonight it was nice driving home and I was alone on the highway in my direction long stretches.

One was a dentist, the other a tire salesman.

Earliest meeting got canceled, phew.

Today everyone but maybe eight people are going to Uppsala for a democracy themed day together with the library staff of Uppsala and Stockholm. I'll be in the last panel to help sum up the day with the moderator.

Had to remind the place I bought the car that they’d promised to book a windscreen change, but now I have the email and I can see it’s ordered, no cost for me. (A crack appeared before they delivered the car.)

Less stressful to drive today, and I’m finding how to adjust little things one by one. Today I played music from my phone on the car’s system, and found how to lower the temperature (which was way too high, like 28C).

A hot shower, tea, knitting, scrambled eggs along with undemanding letsplays and mindless games on my device = more relaxed.

News reporting that there are alpacas loose on a road outside Örebro. I’ll take it! That’s unusual.

Next time I buy a car I won’t have it delivered, I guess. It’s taken four weeks. I only did because my stepdad assured me it was a totally fine option. (Which it probably has been for his brother. Just not for me.)

So, the car won’t be here today. Tomorrow morning, and I’ll have to cancel two meetings. Guess I’ll stress cry for a bit.

Went and got some windscreen washing fluid and a brush for cleaning off snow and ice.

I finished my Trails game, but I did it really quickly and didn’t see everything as well as I could have. However, I am watching Olizandri’s letsplay, so I’ll see it again, later. :)

I have this irrational fear that I will get in the car and get the pedals mixed up…

Finished setting up the parking app for work!town. Almost done with the My Mazda app, but since it’s not a new car I’ll have to wait until it’s next to me to finish registration. My plan is to drive to work on Thursday, but we’ll see. :)

My car was supposed to load onto the transport and start its delivery route south, but I heard nothing and then when I called it had been delayed until today. Still no news today, but it’s still before lunchtime here.

This is probably some kind of bronchitis, with the coughing and sounds from my airways. Trying to sleep with my head higher and taking the inhaler stuff I haven’t bothered with in months to support myself.

I made a fish soup with pasta in it, lots of ginger garlic and mild peppers. Now I’m exhausted again but this will be nice to eat for a couple of days.

Couldn’t resist the bright sunlight and warm temperatures (just at freezing) and took Zevran for a short walk. Neighbor was out with his small (old) dog too and they said hello. Zevran has never ever been confident enough to say hello to a dog before, but this one is sweet and tiny.

Finally my body is finding some alternative nerve connection routes and the sensation in my knee is most of the way back. :) Only took two months!
