I know there's strength in acceptance, but sometimes I just miss who I used to be.

There's this thing I do at parties and other social gatherings and it totally seems to work. After an hour or two, when I'm done, I'll just get up, wave and leave. Shortly after, I message the host thanking them for a lovely time and tell them I had to leave because my social battery was empty.
