Kinda interesting that Akira Toriyama's The World designates one of Toriyama's alternate designs as Shenron (one using his webbed ears).

Me and the bros talking about our favorite Dragon Ball arc, Battle of Gods (we all watched different versions)

I'm not delusional enough to believe they'll forgo the classic characters for the new original ones. But there is a good setup in my opinion to see futuristic "descendants" of fan favorites integrated into the new world that might give a fresher experience.

Maybe a hot take, but I hope Age 1000 stays far away from the Xenoverse formula of using time travel to visit alternate moments from the main story and instead focuses hard on it's unique new universe and characters.

Although very tempting from an engagement standpoint, I told myself when I first started YouTube that I would not be a "dragon ball news" channel. Not for any kind of "integrity" reason, it just seems like it'd stressful to be on top of stuff like that

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is straight up gorgeous and certainly in need of a facelift but a part of me wishes this treatment was given to DQV DQV doesn’t need this…like at all. It already has two amazing remakes. But man, I can imagine it perfectly with this style

How does the outline effect in the PS2 DBZ Budokai games work? Well essentially there are two models directly placed on top of each other. The outline model has its normals inverted, and its vertices displaced in a direction determined by its normal value, creating the effect.

I think my goal for this year is to focus my content more on behind the scenes Dragon Ball gaming stuff because that’s really what I’m most interested in (even if I don’t think my viewers are)

Dragon Ball Kart PS2 Update Time (11/19): Camera is now a proper "follow-cam" (no Smooth-Cam/Interpolation yet) Very basic car acceleration, no turning. Actually somewhat of a game now, even if barebones lol

Dragon Ball Kart PS2 Update (11/12): Rendering of 3D elements on the PlayStation 2 is relative to the camera's placement. So even though I have the math to move the Kart, I need to translate its position to camera coordinates. Or else you get trippy behaviour like this :)
