My Claude instructions ask to proactively add entries to my interstitial journal using my custom MCP server - so I get more visibility into how I'm spending my time, and where my focus is 📊 Automatic entries when I speak to Claude is proving really helpful 💪

I've been using this pattern a bit lately on my Inertia side projects 😁 Often I only need the data to be up to date when visible - so just listen to visibility change, and reload the data we need - nice and easy 😍 I'm too lazy to setup websockets, events, & live updates 😬 and polling upsets me 😛
