New in v1.6.0 of the official Laravel VS Code Extension: Integration with VS Code's built-in test runner! Tests now appear in the test explorer sidebar and you can run them right from the command palette. Works with both Pest and PHPUnit 👍 Shout out to Titas Gailius, knocked it outta the park 👏

I like that approach! Totally makes sense to define the expected outcome clearly within tests when you‘re working with AI.

I believe clawdbot is one of those tools that truly needs to be experienced to be appreciated. At first, I thought: Sounds interesting, but do I really need it? After just 15 minutes of using it today, I’m genuinely impressed! 🤯

It gets even better with this new skill that gets the best out of Remotion and @elevenlabs.io. This was 10min "work". (mostly waiting) PS: I did NOT speak the voice over 😮

I've wanted this feature since we started @transistor.fm: Podcast Show Notes Templates! Automatically insert pre-formatted text (like social links, section headers, etc) into every new episode you create. (Saves a ton of time when writing out your episode description)

I used Claude Code with the new Remotion skill to create a teaser for the latest Laravel release. The voice is from @elevenlabs.io, and I didn’t code, record or edit anything myself. It took a few iterations to get here, but pretty impressive 😮

As a developer, one of the biggest challenges ahead is knowing what to learn. With the rise of AI and coding agents, the focus is shifting from mastering fundamentals first to quickly adapting to new tools while picking up skills on the go.

I've been mostly using Claude Code the last year. What do you use and what else to check out? I'm currently taking a look at Amp Code.

Yesterday I release a video where I tested Claude Code and Opus 4.5. It's crazy what these agents can do in just a couple of minutes. Is perfect? Of course not, but still impressive. What are your thoughts?

I have no idea about the future of devs, frameworks, and coding tools. But I know one thing for sure: If you put in the hard work, adapt to change, and embrace the human side of you, there will always be a place for you. You may not do the exact same thing, but your skills will be invaluable.

When did you last check a dev tool's docs? I only refer to docs 5% as often as I used to. Asking an AI is just easier. This challenges open-source tools that rely on product promotion. (like TailwindCSS) Supporting open-source tools is crucial, or we won't see such products anymore for free...
