Back from Canadian Thanksgiving. Getting back into the GTA is eye twitching, but even more when the ride to Montréal was via MegaBus. I'm going to use VIA Rail going forward.

Reading the news out from the States this morning and... *really REALLY* glad my husband and I left mid-2022 when we did. 😬

Wouldn't say I had a debauch birthday weekend, but I was able to enjoy Korean BBQ, go apple picking, make apple sauce, have pecan pie, and eat a decent burger (though my husband makes really good burgers!), and I'm 2lbs heavier and happier for it.

I made homemade apple sauce for the first time ever, and all I had to do was go with @paulgoodman.bsky.social all the way away from the GTA to get some. 4 Apples makes 1L of apple sauce, no additional sugar needed. So much ground cinnamon added.

I am absolutely horrible at drawing armour, so this piece will be a combination of me drawing armour, making it fantasy-based, and going so far from what armour looks like that I make something entirely different. Also, braids.
