Thanks,
@skyemcdavid.com
<3 A reply is in the works and we do have plenty of new microscopic evidence that will reinforce the pterosaurian nature of Bakiribu. It will take us some time to wrap up the manuscript, though.

This preprint (from authors who have not seen the specimen) is biased by anatomical misinterpretations and overlooks tooth histology and implantation. I suggest readers remain cautious. We also have further data that will help elucidate the matter. Stay tuned!

Azhdarchid pterosaur diversity in the Bayanshiree Formation, Upper Cretaceous of the Gobi Desert, Mongolia
Pterosaur remains are very rare in Mongolian Mesozoic deposits, in stark contrast with the great abundance of dinosaur fossils in the region. This contribution presents a reassessment of the azhdarchi...

⚠️Pterosaur alert🔔 Please welcome Gobiazhdarcho and Tsogtopteryx, two azhdarchids from the Bayanshiree Fm. of the Gobi Desert, Mongolia! Despite known only from cervical remains, these elements are surprisingly informative for Azhdarchidae and help us ID them quite well [+]

We're proud to reveal our new posters! A lot of effort went into the big mural-style poster especially. These will soon all be shipped out to backers who ordered them, and eventually we'll open an online store where you can buy them as well!

Some issues with this. "Looks like"? Let's see the CT scans of the skeleton and teeth: that will tell us if they are morphologically similar to Aenocyon dirus rather than Canis lupus. "Act like"?!?!?! We don't **KNOW** what they acted like! Kind of a big issue in paleo!

The collapse of Twitter has made it much harder for me to advertise myself and my work. I illustrate bones and skeletons, mostly of dinosaurs and pterosaurs. I offer heavy discounts for academic customers. Further examples of my work:
