This morning in finding joy. I made quiche for money in high school in Jamaica. I don't think I ever got the recipe quite right. It was difficult to get heavy cream and evap is a poor substitute. Been tinkering recently and the cheese quiche in the 2nd pic suggests I have figured out the custard.

The lore in my family around my parent's marriage is that some on my mother's side did not want my mother to marry my dad because he was "too Black" and some on my father's side did not approve of him marrying my mother because her family was "too crazy."
