It's okay to acknowledge you're not where you want to be. I'm not where I want to be yet, either. But Trauma Brain's going to try to take that fact & convince us we'll "never" be ANYWHERE we want to be-- which is fake news. Easy does it. Gotta start somewhere to get somewhere.

Trauma Brain is not above cherry picking not only traumatic memories, but also just garden variety moments of past cringe & regret to focus on & make us feel small. Extending ourselves grace & compassion is an everyday recovery skill that isn't just limited to the big stuff.

I drew again yay <3 I want to upload more. I want do to many things, illnesses making it hard to come even close to do all of that. I have many fears. I want to be braver, don't giving a damn on my abusers, mean people, etc, but it's hard because of the trauma and the unlucky experiences. 1/2

getting an operation tomorrow, was yesterday in the hospital to speak with the doctors about how all will be done. I'm a bit nervous;I already had operations but still :o sadly I couldn't say anything when I got misgendered. I changed my gender official & I'm still not able to stand up for myself :/
