Weekly Movie: 28 YEARS LATER (2025): I loved 28 DAYS LATER, it was fresh, fun & tense. Liked the sequel, 28 WEEKS LATER & now we are here… 28 YEARS LATER. Love the world building with its cool moments & great characters (Ralph Fiennes), it’s still a fun & tense adventure. Bring on the Bone Temple!

Weekly Movie: EASY MONEY (1983): A Rodney Dangerfield classic & for me, a childhood classic. One of my fondest memories is watching my dad lose it at that overhead shot of the packed wedding reception in the tiny backyard. Makes me smile & that means this film will always be special to me. Dumb fun!

OK! Good news! Abigail is out of surgery & in recovery, things went well. She is staying overnight for observation and then we can pick her up tomorrow. #doggo

Positive vibes for our #doggo Abigail who just went in for double knee surgery. I know she will do great and she’s in the best hands but that doesn’t make it any easier. Nervous dog dad over here!

Weekly Movie: WAKE UP DEAD MAN (2025): Of all the KNIVES OUT flicks, this was the most intimate & it featured the least amount of Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc on screen. That said, it’s a tight, well-acted, well-scripted mystery and continues to add to this already stellar franchise with flair!

Good morning! It’s the start of a new year! Lots of fear & stresses out there but lots of love & positivity too! I choose to focus on that, play some games and laugh as much as possible. OK 2026, let’s do this!

Weekly Movie: ROBODOC (2023): 5+ hours of amazing behind-the-scenes footage, rare interviews, new retrospectives and a deep dive into one of the best & most influential movies of the 80’s, ROBOCOP. This killer doc series (on Amazon Prime) is such a fascinating look at such a fantastic film. So good!

Weekly Movie: JAY KELLY (2025): Another duo I didn’t know I needed in my life, Clooney & Sandler. An aging star looks back at his life to see what he had to give up to become famous. The writing is fantastic, the performances engaging & it’s all quite enjoyable. Clooney was made for this role!

Weekly Movie: PREDATOR BADLANDS (2025): This is a very different PREDATOR movie and I for one was delightfully surprised by it. The Predator is the hero, it shows off the Yautja home world, clan dynamics & ties in a bit more Alien lore to the franchise. I missed the hard R-rating though! Fun flick!

Weekly Movie: FRANKENSTEIN (2025): Wow. It’s Epic, well-acted & oh, so beautiful. Guillermo Del Toro does it again, retelling this classic tale in a new, stunning way but it could have used another edit, otherwise it’s a great take on Mary Shelly’s brilliant story & one hell of a visual feast. Wow.

Weekly Movie: PLAY DIRTY (2025): Despite being a Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) written & directed heist caper and boasting a solid cast, it’s pretty much a paint-by-numbers offering nothing too new in terms of story or action. It’s enjoyable for sure but not memorable, a good sick day matinee.
