Leaker NateTheHate has commented on an unconfirmed rumour by the generally unreliable Nash Weddle that Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. He says that he heard a while back that Rockstar Games had attempted to get the ambitious game up and running on the Nintendo Switch 2, but tests don't always equal a release. NateTheHate therefore issued caution on the rumour.

Capcom has confirmed that mouse controls will not be an option for Resident Evil Requiem on the Nintendo Switch 2 as they make the game feel too complex. The mouse controls offer aiming options for players, but the game's producer Masato Kumazawa says that after testing mouse controls they decided against the option as they felt it made the game feel more complex and convoluted than it did with traditional controls.

Nintendo Switch Online members who spend more than £25 on discounted digital software will earn an additional bonus month for their Nintendo Switch Online membership, and another second bonus month when spending more than 40€ on discounted digital software. It seems that the extension is for the base Nintendo Switch Online membership, rather than the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.

Nintendo has commented on the uproar which emerged on social media after some third party Nintendo Switch 2 docks failed to work properly after the recent firmware update, leading some to speculate that the Kyoto-based company was purposely bricking legal third party docks. Nintendo has said in a statement that this isn't the case and that it does't have any "intention to hinder or invalidate legal third-party dock compatibility." If you have been affected by this issue then you will unfortunately have to wait for your dock manufacturer to release a firmware update to resolve the issue.
