Something special happened this spring in Montreal, and it wasn’t just the Canadiens’ magical ride to the Eastern Conference final. Just as notable was what was going on in the streets. There were a new wave of younger Canadiens fans ready carry the torch.

Habs made big strides this season but like Washington last spring they’ve hit a wall in Carolina and they’ll need another year or two of improvement to get over that hump.
