Of *course* I finally got to the part of the game in poe2 that had the spectre I wanted and it's entirely non-functional this patch (they won't even hit enemies that are actively damaging them) they didn't even get changes this patch afaik!

Somehow Aethermancer took "what if monster sanctuary randomizer but bite size" and turned it into hands down one of the best monster battlers I've ever played there's no dead weight! Every monster has some cool and unique *thing*! And the SYNERGIES. it's just so cool. I love indie games.

okay, I think I've officially found the worst runback in silksong, and whoever allowed this to happen has some issues to work through. It could easily take 10+ minutes just to get back to the arena.... And there's only a couple enemies to kill for shards on the way, so you WILL run out.

Silksong: here's a new enemy, the pathetic worm. He's 3 inches tall and has the voice of an 80 year old man. Me: heh, cool Silksong: the pathetic worm has 7 different attacks, 400 hp, and will take two of your health per hit Me (through tears): very...cool...

I think my only complaint about silksong so far is that team cherry just cannot design a flying enemy that doesn't drift away from you during every animation, and they like having them attack you when you're on unsafe ground (surrounded by spikes) pls just let me hit the enemy

I continue to be impressed with Void Stranger's ability to tutorialize the game's extremely weird rules. The amount of thought that went into making sure you can understand every action available to you and the "rules" of the game world without any non-diegetic text is amazing.
