This work has something for all of the listed groups and is a fresh and satisfying take on a fascinating piece of nearly-lost-art besides. The historical background alone is worth the price of admission, even apart from the sublime execution. You owe it to yourself to check it out!

I was fortunate enough to see this hilarious game in person (my first time attending such an event). Well worth a watch.

A wonderful summation! I am one episode in and the show seems perfectly charming. It remains to be seen whether it will explore some of the deeper issues that I look for in an anime of this kind (ecology and our relationship with food, predator-prey relationships, etc.).

As someone who studies culinary and ecological themes in anime (and as a devoted fan of series like Studio Trigger’s Delicious in Dungeon and MAPPA’s Campfire Cooking in Another World with my Absurd Skill) I can’t wait to “dig in” to this upcoming adaptation of Kanata Hoshi’s light novel series!

It's interesting how often people lecture theologians on the need to cater to the needs of the church and how rarely churches bother to engage with or listen to theologians. I think that church leaders would get a lot more help than they expect in adapting to new circumstances if they engage.
