We held our first Curiosity event inside a prison today. Poets @mattnicholson365.bsky.social and @deanwilson.bsky.social visited Hull Prison’s library to talk to inmates about poetry, poets and writing in general. Apparently a splendid time was had by all. @hulllibraries.bsky.social

Daft little poem about perspective: Eyes My eyes were put in the wrong way round. It’s not hard to spot but it’s what I’ve found. The left is where the right should be, the right sees what the left should see, and that’s the way it will always be, until I’m buried in the ground.

I have shaved off my white beard because at this time of year it can cause existential concerns, especially among the younger population
