I hadn't watched a chaser stream in 10 years, but on May 2, 2024, I saw that a tornado was in progress north of Abilene, TX. I walked to the base of Skógafoss in Iceland and had the absolute time of my life! I was cold and drenched but so happy.

I’ve finally decided where I will be going for my big trip this year! I will be heading to Nepal for 6-7 weeks to hike in the Himalayas and explore the culture there! I will be leaving in mid September to knock off my #1 bucket list shot! Super excited to visit my 3rd continent!

In the PA section of the AT my camera charger stopped working so while I waited for a new one to arrive, I bought a disposable camera. I’m glad I did that!

It did end up being a tough chase. Outflow boundary from the morning convection hampered the warm front’s ability to move north. Had to drive to Waco to chase! Not a bad day though. Still got a tornado and cool structure!

Today is a tough chase. I want to see tornadoes, but the cell to the left is over a more populated area than I like. The 3 dots to the right of it show a train of supercells going through DFW. Not sure if I want lightning or tornadoes. I guess we’ll see today. All day chase coming up!
