This tiny speck on a Dandelion seed head is the shimmery little micro-moth, Micropterix calthella, a really beautiful little creature. They feed on pollen in buttercup species & can be seen in large numbers there. Their larva feed on seeds of Cock's foot grass.

Solar tech has improved so much and come down in price some in CH use them to build fences. Balcony solar panels for flats produce enough to charge most devices. Rainfall capture is a big thing here too. So your house is completely off the grid for water supply as well.
