It's been fun running the numbers in my head as to how I want to build Amon in Borderlands 4. I definitely wanna do a "Mass Effect Vanguard" kind of build, but the idea of chucking my shield at somebody like Captain America is also exciting. He's also just a fun character storywise, too.

As someone who focused primarily on Artemis Fowl when I was growing up, I'm glad I wasn't sucked into the Harry Potter vortex, given JK Rowling's scandals and controversies. I mean, sure, I'll never see my favorite childhood series go cinema, but it's a small price to pay.

I may stream this. I streamed Ghost of Tsushima once upon a time, might as well do so for Ghost of Yotei. Wanna see where it goes.

So Borderlands 4 is a pretty good time. Having fun spicy fisting people with Amon. Plus the character's dialogue ain't too bad, either. Might play this game for a long time, now that it's working on my PC.

Okay. Borderlands 4 is playable now. Time to start Forgeknighting all over the place.

Maybe it's just me, but while I think the bike in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is cool, it could possibly detract from what Metroid is supposed to be, where you're traveling in narrow passageways while finding secrets. Maybe I'll end up liking it in the end, but it's what I'm feeling right now.

There's a lot of insanity and chaos going on around the world, but I try to not let it change who I am. I take it one step at a time and make it a mission to express my solidarity with my friends every day. The world may be burning, but I don't have to burn with it.

I think I'm definitely changing my views on what games I want to play. Like yes, I still wanna play the new thing, but I miss my old games, too. And I wanna go back and play the old stuff. The new stuff will still be there when I'm ready for it.

Battlestar Galactica is good ass television.

I didn't realize just how much of an influence the Mass Effect trilogy was on my mind. Even Mass Effect 3 was something special, but there are some things that confuse me, such as Javik telling Shepard to toss Legion out because he doesn't trust AI while saying this in a ship with an AI installed.

I'd like to know what these alternatives are. Just in case.

Testing Hanwei Practical Wakizashi

Been seeing people saying Silksong is harder than the first game, and I can kind of confirm that with how I've gotten hit and how I died a couple times. But I feel that makes mastering the combat of this game a little more essential, and you have to get used to paying attention and being patient.

So Silksong is fun. Made my way to the fourth? area of the game right now. The dive attack will have to take some getting used to, but it's been fun so far. Definitely another game I will happily get lost in for some time.

Mass Effect 2 is done. A timeless classic where every decision has weight, it's got an incredible high-stakes narrative with an endearing cast of characters you'll love to know, and some solid tactical gameplay where you can become an artist on the battlefield. One of my favorite games. Score: 5/5
