🔎 Sneak peek! 🐦 We're delighted to share something exciting we have been working on for the past few months...a bespoke new Bird viewing platform - 'The Lookout', installed at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park in Penarth.

🦎 Just 3 weeks after creating a new pond at Coed Hills in St Hilary, we had the incredible opportunity to witness - Palmate newts (Lissotriton helveticus), Smooth newts (Lissotriton vulgaris) and Great crested newts (Triturus cristatus) that have colonised the pond and made it their new home!

#RecordOfTheWeek is a fabulous sea slug, Barnacle-eating Doris (Onchidoris bilamellata), spotted in Penarth by Wynn Griffiths. This is the first record for Penarth, and the most easterly record for south Wales! Many thanks for the record & photos, submitted via iRecord irecord.org.uk.
