I kinda see #Alastor's MO like #Hazbin's more bloodthirsty, more sadistic version of Jack Sparrow. Their chaotic asses use people, including those they are fond of, pulling them into their convoluted 3D chess risky schemes, but simultaneously assuring that the said people won't be hurt. Much.

I wondered why I love S2 Alastor even though he's an asshole and I'm entirely put off by Lucifer who's objectively more sympathetic, and I realized it's not only Al's delicious wit and cunning which is my cryptonite. It's how Alastor won't lay down and accept victimhood. He suffers but he BITES.+
