Notable that Ben Mezrich said he started his recent book as a huge fan of Elon. So many ppl who later became Elon skeptics and $TSLAQ are burnt fans or ppl who initially nominally supported Tesla but eventually noticed smth was deeply wrong with the company.

One does wonder how many stories eventually leak out of employees who had to save him from himself. The Mezrich anecdote that they almost dialed 911 last December has me thinking “that’s just the tip of the iceberg”. Plus I’ve heard rumors at Tesla/SpaceX too that haven’t been confirmed
