Went and saw "Project Hail Mary" last night. When we bought tickets online we were the only one in the theater. As the previews ran at least 16 other people came in all nice and evenly spaced out in the theater. Loved the movie.

A splash of ammonia, white oak, and time. 36 hours in my fumer (an old igloo cooler) enriched the color this oak wand a change that I think is well worth the wait.

Bought the solar garden bed light at Aldi and put it on the post of my Little Free Library. It puts out a lovely amount of light.

A few years ago I created a tabletop game. Tomb of Peril. Did all the art, wrote the rules, got a test version made. Then found out how much I’d have to raise to get it printed… So if there’s a game making company out there that wants it… it’s available. I’m also open to a name change.

It was a whirlwind weekend at Planet Comic Con KC. Many thanks for all the people who stopped by and special thanks to those who mad a purchase.

I can’t stress to you enough how much better my con setup and break down got when I condensed my booth down to a cart load of tubs. Con ended at 5 and I was pulling this out for my three block walk to my car by 5:18.

Guy walked by my booth at Con. “Dragon eggs, I love dragons.” My kid, “I love dragons too.” Him as he walks away, “I Loooove Dragons.” I turn to my kid, “I was going to make an asbestos condom joke but I thought it’d be inappropriate for the location.”

Someone spilled their drink on my table into one of the dragon egg chests.. honestly a first.

Day two of Planet Comic Con KC

Thought I had made enough Black Walnut wands but I just sold five in a row and it’s only the first day.

Cursive? My kid goes to the high school I graduated from and they don’t have shop class anymore. We have a generation of kids who don’t know how to drive a nail.

It’s always weird to walk in and have the hall be so empty. Got my load in for PCCKC done in record time.
