Wow! Look how much the puppies have grown in 2.5 weeks.

Talk about bureaucacy and a rort, @rogueytwinkles.bsky.social finally started work on a building project. Council's come back 2 mths after last comms to say the right application was not submitted. Hand over another $940! Building surveyor ticked off docs as complete and issued permit.

I picked the last of my basil and made some pesto. Softened some cherry tomatoes, added prosciutto and managed to produce a lovely pasta dish for dinner. Not bad as I'm feeling very tired after a 5am start.

Started the morning on a high! Just had a call with an external KOL and she validated weeks of work I have been doing to improve our customer experience. I feel like I need the rest of the day off! But it's only 8am! 🤣

The puppies are growing! 2 weeks old now.

My son's very important text to me at 7.45am. Very early to be eating lollies! But he did start work at 5.30am

I'm taking 15mins to myself before my 7am meeting. It's then back to back meetings for 4hrs. No time for real work until the afternoon. This new team lead role is turning out to be crazy busy! Hoping it settles a bit after this transition period.

Productive morning here. Dog walked, 5 more Nandinas potted, other pots tidied, shade cloth reinstated and a fruitcake to take when we visit the puppies later today.

The dreaded leaf blower! Just watched a neighbour blow all the leaves from the footpath in front of her house to the neighbour's footpath- right onto the crossover! Mind you the 1st neighbour is the one with the trees- not the 2nd one. I'd be annoyed if I was the 2nd neighbour.

I've dividing Nandinas, seaside daisies and a few other other plants. I have a large blank slate that I need to fill. Several hundred more plants are all I need! But I'm happy I've made a start.

I have to stop procastinating and get back to work!

I have hubby's car today. I left the lights in after dropping dogs off today. I now have a flat battery. I'm very annoyed with myself.

2 work milestones today. Survived my first week in my new role as a team lead. The fun hasn't started yet! Plus received my first round of 360 feedback. What rubbish! I need to start practising adding superlative words to reviews that I will now have to complete for my team. Not my favourite thing!

I opened the freezer and my son has dropped off lots of individual tubs of Maggie Beer ice cream. Lemon curd and Amaretti biscuit flavour. Yum!
