Dinner tonight was Italian-style meatballs with garlic bread. Very easy recipe where the meatballs cook in the tomato sauce. 🍜🍽️🍅🧀🌿

Had the new pneumonia vax yesterday. Feeling pretty crappy. Luckily I’ve got dinner 90% ready. I know it’s better than the illness. Luckily nothing pressing on.

Just out of the oven Parmesan, pepper & thyme scones. They smell great. Will serve with soup tonight. After experimenting unsuccessfully with another cheese scone recipe, I’ve decided to teach this one at upcoming baking classes. 🍜🍽️🧀🌿🥚🥛

First baking fail of the day RecipeTin Eats cheese scones. Followed the recipe to a T, but they were too wet and they didn’t rise. Ho hum. Testing recipes for teaching. Not sure I’ll try this one again. At least they smell and taste good. 🍽️🍜🧀

Just back from second dentist appointment in 2 weeks. Ouch. I feel like my teeth are too big for my mouth.

I put a call out to our local rehoming group for baking equipment for the baking classes I’m teaching. So far I’ve got a fabulous square cake tin and an 8 litre stainless steel bowl. Will pick up more today. The bowl’s so big I could bath a puppy in it. 🤣 Such a kind group.

@rogueytwinkles.bsky.social here’s an update on our plant domes. The seedlings that we covered seem to be recovering and growing. I think the broccolini may be the least successful. After removing the pine bark mulch and adding compost the bed seems alive. We’re even growing red cos.
