Prawn Stock ready for the freezer 😉

With the Festive Season approaching now’s the time to start prepping and planning. Today I’m making a prawn stock. This will add a robust flavour to many dishes (fabulous as stock in a risotto). It freezes well and it’s one less thing to do!😉 #Cooking

Good morning ☕️ Yesterday I tried a new recipe and made gingerbread men. So glad I did as the recipe just isn’t right (definitely not enough ginger and not sweet). Will give them another go after tweaking the recipe but, they haven’t gone to waste. Blitzed into crumb for cheesecake base or crumble 😉

Just a reminder…

Dinner: This has to be one of my most favourite meals… Left over baked pasta is broken up and put into a hot frypan with a little olive oil. It is then ‘fried’ off till the pasta starts to get crispy bits. It’s is served with a sprinkle of Parmesan and fresh herbs and, it is yum! 😊

We really tried but just gave in… Heating is back on 🙄

Home again and I’ve decided it’s a perfect day to do some baking 👩‍🍳

So much better when I don’t have to make it! Breakfast is served…

Good morning ☕️ Update from yesterday. Uncle was sent home last night. Diagnosis of diverticulitis for starters. Two other issues will require further scans and an appointment with his Urologist. 🤞over these…. ☹️

The million or so people who have threatened to leave New York if Mamdami was elected should be packing their bags about now. In a couple of days New York’s housing problems will be solved due to this. Mamdami kicking goals from the start. #MamdamiWinning 😁

I spent way too many hours over the years with my parents in hospitals waiting for test results, waiting for doctors, and now I’m doing it again with my (3rd parent), my bachelor uncle, who has lived with my parents since he was 18 (now 85). Cafeteria coffees go a long way breaking the wait🙄

It never rains, only pours! Mr Cheeky required a Vet visit as his urinary issues have flared up. No sooner do I get to Vet that I get a call to say my uncle (bachelor) is on his way to hospital. Tag teamed with son to hand over cat at vet and I’m now in hospital with uncle 🙄 Mr Cheeky is on meds…

Donald Trump should be impeached and charged with election interference in the New York elections this week, even if this were his ONLY crime it is enough that he stands AGAINST DEMOCRACY in the USA. He threatens that city with Federal funding cuts if people don´t vote his way.
