All illustration tutorial books start with try drawing circles every day for four weeks which is why I always start on page 76 where you get to draw robots and draculas.

in 1942, Eric Ravilious became the first British war artist to die on active service in WW2, when the aircraft he was in was lost off the coast of Iceland. Frank Delaney re-visits the work of this understated, yet significant figure:

Whenever I share paintings of the power station I always get comments about what a blight it looks and the cleverness of the juxtaposition, and I just donāt know how to explain how sad it makes me feel to look at the hole it has left on the horizon now itās gone

Iāve worked as a concept artist for 5+ years and have recently got into illustration for books. I can draw you anything! :) if you could share + repost + send this to colleagues or friends, that would be of great help to me. As always, I will continue to make art.

Took a bit of a break from drawing, was able to come back with a tree drawing. I found this tree standing with its rock in Cannock Chase Forest. Lots of beautiful ancient oaks still hanging around there and summertime is really beautiful in England, itās hard not to draw it Graphite on paper
