Can’t believe the news, Disney shutting down the marvel. vis dev department. This teams art made them billions and billions of dollars, but it seems that paying a handful or so of fulltime illustrators is simply too much to ask these days.

Another part of Marvel shutting down the Visual Development Team is that Marvel got extremely restrictive of the work the team could show AFTER a project was released. So this brilliant team could barely show and advertise the work they did. Making a layoff like this even worse.

This team did amazing work including Karla. I’m just so sad for them 💔
