Have finally mostly recovered from RSV although the cough lingers on. We’re having a stinky hot stretch of days so I’m putting in early morning garden time and then holing up with indoor work. Glen is also at about 85% so things are getting back to ”normal.” 🤪

Sunday Grambo status report: Glen is feeling good and walked over 300O steps yesterday, including a trip to the hospital gift shop to buy more Cheezies. May come home Tuesday. Becky has a bad cough and feels like 💩. Hope that improves. Also, it’s snowing but we have. Swainson’s Thrush in the yard!

This is traditionally the weekend when people here in Warman, Saskatchewan Canada plant their gardens. This year, not so much! 🤣

ChiChi has decided to perform what I choose to interpret as some kind of cockatoo healing thing by sitting on my head and preening. She’s been up there a good 15 minutes and shows no sign of getting down. 🤣 Fortunately she almost never poops when she’s up there!

Morning Glen report: Sodium 128-130 with saline drip. They are periodically unhooking him. He is perky, eating, and will be masking up to go for a walk about later. Morning Becky report: I am now quite sick with what I assume is Glen’s RSV. Will medicate, hydrate and shop online. 😊

@glengrambo.bsky.social is in hospital with severe hyponatremia and will be there for a few days while they gradually bring his sodium levels up to normal. Glen is prone to this happening whenever his body is stressed so we were able to guide the lovely ER people to a quick diagnosis. We are lucky!

Good morning from snowy Warman, Saskatchewan Canada where we have a day of white stuff ahead but we also have Purple Finches! Several males and females arrived yesterday.

If you are not following Jeanne, you should be. Every day she gives us a wonderful break in the insanity — time to take a deep breath and appreciate the calm beauty around us. She is a treasure! 💙

Ah, Spring in Saskatchewan! This is all since late yesterday afternoon. Everything was bare of snow before that. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

I’m not sure there is any better place to be than in my little red house with @glengrambo.bsky.social and our pets in a snowstorm. We are safe and warm and the world outside is silent except for the wind. ❤️ Have a lovely night everyone.
