Just shy of eight years ago, we celebrated the Repeal of the Eighth Amendment. We celebrated because it was a milestone. For women's rights, for gender equality, and for progress. Tonight, TDs will have a choice to honour the commitments made during that referendum.

Elected representatives and supporters gathered at Leinster House yesterday to stand in solidarity with Covalen workers protesting their lack of support when facing 720 proposed redundancies. These workers want their union at the table to negotiate.

We must all stand in solidarity with the Covalen workers, who protested this week outside Leinster House. This is the tip of the iceberg. AI will cause labour displacement at a scale we have not yet seen as a species. We must protect and empower workers during this period of great disruption.

Sporstwashing is when a bad actor uses sports to distract from its negative, or outright appalling actions. Israel being allowed to compete in the UEFA Nations League is a textbook example. The FAI, RTÉ and the govt must make a stand and boycott Ireland's fixtures against Israel later this year.
