Creature commission

I don’t “network,” I make friends. Other artists are not my competition, they’re my beloved peers and sources of inspiration. We all have the same goal; to share our art. I’m not gonna corporatize my human relationships with them. I am in my sandbox playing and I hope they join me.

I feel the same way, I really miss when I could post something and have people interact out of pure fun and love of the arts, but now everything feels so competitive and it's almost impossible for your own content to reach anyone if you're not actively building a follower base.

Back in the old days of DeviantART, I'd dedicate a day to comment on new artists I found. Finding new faves, giving thoughtful insight on works I enjoyed, encouraging others. The current artist website landscape doesn't feel as welcoming for that, and I'm really missing it.
