Just had an AHAH moment for the WIP! Then an UHHH moment for how tragic that will be for the main character? Then an OH FUCK moment at the prospect of having to ‘go there’ to write it…

I’m behind where I wanted to be on writing this new book. I’ve let music work and publishing emotions get in the way—but no more! Let October be the month of prioritising the writing!

What a bonkers industry publishing is. Perma-crisis with a veneer of mindfulness. And I say that as a theatre person. I’ve had disaster opening nights which were less stressful than pulling a book together for publication!
