Realizing that it was actively easier to sit and read a 400 page book in FRENCH and at least "get by" meanwhile you put a piece of sheet music in front of me and I'd be absolutely hopeless 6+ years of classical choir training doing absolutely NOTHING for me. How does that make sense???
