Got to run again today for the first time in a while as part of my cardiac rehab and it felt amazing. I've been looking forward to this and it went great. More than anything, it gives me hope. A great start to the day. Hope everyone is doing well.

I clicked on something involving otters on Facebook and now my whole Facebook feed is just otters and, ngl, I'm not even mad about it. They're so cute.

One of the toughest deals as a self-pub author is seeing your work get praise, especially from outside the writing community bubble from people who have no reason to blow smoke up your arse, but you still struggle to get people to pick it up.

So I had another stent done and didn't die, which is a bonus. Hopefully that is the last one. And it means I can start running again soon, so even more positives. And to top it off, just the final chapter left to do to complete the first draft of this side WIP. What a week.

Can we talk about washing machines? 20 different cycles, but none of them ever seems to be really appropriate, and not one of them has the combination of features anyone wants. I feel like we should have perfected washing machines years ago, but just haven't come close.

3000 words all told in about four hours, including coffee. Huzzah for inspiration.

Wasn't sure about the ending of this side WIP, but even if I say so myself I think I might have played a blinder with this and pulled something out of my arse.

Was pretty good. I always like these Tom Clancy adaptations because the core story is so good it makes them easy to convert into the new format.
