One of the things I love about working in publishing is getting to spend my weekends thinking deep thoughts about deep questions, such as... Should figures be placed closest to where they are first referenced, or should they always appear _after_ they are first referenced?

It really helped me see what is possible as well in terms of combining short stories of all sorts in one world from different perspectives, lengths, types, etc. I have a few stories hanging around (written and in my head) that can be connected, and this has given me a little push to do it!
