I did the scary thing, I did inpatient psychiatric care. I went in last Thursday and got out yesterday. They gave me a new medicine that so far seems ok. It was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done while somehow also being one of the most boring things I’ve ever done.

I met with a new therapist today and he brought up the idea of inpatient psychiatric care a lot…it just seems scary, I’ve seen too many tv shows and movies

After trying a couple of different meds my mental health doctor had me do a genetic test to see which drugs should metabolize with my system. The test showed a couple that should work so we are changing to one of them. Fingers crossed this one actually helps.
