I still don’t get how Starmer can blame Brexit for the small boats, insist stopping the small boats is a huge priority, but then stick to the idea that Brexit can’t be undone. It makes no sense.

It’s simple: if you think we can “make Brexit work”, then Farage should be PM as soon as possible. The Tories failed on Brexit and Labour clearly has as well. The only argument against Farage that will work is “Brexit will never work”. And every party is running away from this as hard as they can.

If I was an American, I’d be grateful when Trump goes golfing. I’d encourage him to do it more - at least he’s not working on screwing up the US economy any further while he’s doing that.

More convinced than ever that Trump will be the death of Brexit. The Don is good at least for fast-forwarding the national nightmare closer to the end, where we can talk about being back in the EU where we belong.

The Tories need to look at how Labour turned things around. They ditched Corbynism so much, they ditched Corbyn himself. The Tories could do something similar by ditching Brexit. Saying it was a mistake and hasn’t worked out and rejoin is worth considering.

If Trump truly wants peace in Ukraine, it’s simple: go all in on helping Ukraine defend itself, help push the Russians out of Ukraine completely, then you’re there.

I think I see a way through this "Ukrainian election" problem that is straightforward. Russia removes itself completely from all Ukrainian land, then Zelensky calls an election. There, problem solved.
