#SFFChat A4. From ANOTHER FINE MESS. I bolted upright at the sight of all those stars, which was a big mistake, because it felt like my eyeballs continued to roll down the hill long after my head stopped moving. My stomach threatened to follow, but I swallowed hard to jam it in place.

#WeeknightWriters I'm not struggling with much except finding a topic to write about. I'm in between stories at the moment. Now, to choose something else to write about. I'd love to find a home for my holiday horror stories. Wrote one based on Grýla, the Icelandic Christmas witch. It's a doozy! LOL

#SFFChat - A3. Time in my worlds isn't much different from time in the "real" world. Magic may result in confusion like it's dark out but really 6 pm instead of 6 am. Or my character forgets which day it is. Time can be quite disorienting especially when magic and tech become involved.

#SFFChat A2 - Sometimes I do. The time of day and weather may affect my characters. The time of year also affects them. I get Seasonal Affective Disorder mid winter. My characters sometime act like they suffer from it year round. LOL

#WeeknightWriters - Not really struggling much. I finally wrote the intro for my NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD interview. That intro was bugging me mainly because I didn't feel like writing it. LOL I did and handed in the interview. I now need to come up with a new story idea since I subbed my last one.

#HorrorWritersChat Q4: As the scroll unfurled, I could feel it, like the cold satisfaction of a rival. Some permeating, undeniable pain. Scanning the cyclopean symbols, a second horrible realization: Not only was the pain growing, but the source was not the scroll. It emanated from behind my eyes.

Oooh tough question. The seal would be under a pane of glass in a forgotten conservatory, pressed between the roots of a withered rosebush. It hums at dusk, when the light dies slow. Anyone who tries to read the inscription forgets their own name before they read the last word. #HorrorWritersChat

A terrible truth is we are capable of a peaceful, cooperative, flourishing society, but we choose not to live in it, because we (not just people at the top) enjoy our little sadism treats too much. This isn't hidden from humanity, lest it destroy us. Humanity destroys itself. #HorrorWritersChat

For me, the Terrible Truth would be indestructible predetermination of everything in my life, while I'm led to believe that I can, in fact, change things, and myself. Whatever happens to me is already predestined; and no matter my resistance, things will happen to me as planned. #HorrorWritersChat
