she is not used to this proximity and makes a little squeak noise, glancing at him and blinking. "you're still tired?"

"if she is not your child, then i guess that is fine," she replied, turning to the flickering candle and watching both their shadows on the walls. "i am saying the building is old. she can easily get lost, but if you don't care i won't speak further."

while the chapel wasn't overly busy, maryam found herself traveling towards the nearest town for books, candles, and other supplies. with a list in hand, she meandered down the street, almost bumping into @kryptthekangahog.bsky.social , blinking and quickly slipping aside. "my apologies."
