Making some progress on this digital back patch 😄

Got the playfield and audio displaying on the screen, I will be installing this digital back patch onto a pinball battle jacket I made awhile back. Excited!

I made Flapjackarak pancakes for my kids over the weekend and now my 2 year old demands every meal includes a character from Bugsnax 😫

Being a producer be like

Bugsnax is probably closest - fun colorful characters, good but simple mechanics, collectability, catchy music and a weird story. Reminds me of playing RARE games in the 90s.

Finally feeling inspired to make some battle jackets again after a long (for me) hiatus. Super early on a leather synthwave piece that will be a mix of patches and hand painting. Also have 2 others brewing. Out of all my jackets (20+) this will be only my second with an actual music focus.

Slowly getting my office all cleaned up and nice again. Spent some time cleaning up and working on theming the exterior today. Cleared a bunch of junk so I can get the lounge and interior nice again. ❤️

Finally starting my game development battle jacket project featuring games I've worked on, events I've attended, partners and companies I've worked with and platforms I've launched to. Next year marks 20 years in game dev and it should be a nice time capsule.

I largely wanted to get into game development because of RARE games and the soundtracks of Grant Kirkhope and David Wise, specifically. Anyway today my son said he wants to be a game designer and he just put the Banjo Tooie OST on as ambiance while we wash dishes 🥺

I got the opportunity to work with GameMaker to put together the Steam event for their Awards! Several Akupara titles are made with GameMaker engine, and I love that it helps make game development more accessible for everyone :)

Last night I streamed the Nostalgia 64 Banjo Kazooie mod for my birthday. I just set it up for my son to play and all of the same things I said last night are coming out of his mouth 😂 like watching myself if I was 7 years old.
