I can’t ever resist it, so doing a thread of my personal Top 10 games of the year. Some that are legitimate all-time favorites now honestly.

This started as a review, but my editor smartly said this is a great op-ed bogged down by having to be a review. So I took that advice and ran with it. The result is one of my favorite things I’ve written this year and, in part, a tribute to my grandma ❤️

Finished up S4 of Dr. Stone the other night. Continues to be an enjoyable watch. Went some places I didn't see coming, so that was a nice surprise. Looking forward to the next season. Got to be getting close to wrapping up the overarching narrative soon. I'll be there for it.

Platinum #99 - Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping was so damn good. I love this series. Just fun, no fuss, short mystery point-and-click games with a lot of charm, good humor, and funny characters. Can't wait to see what's next. Thank you @happybroccoligames.bsky.social

Platinum #98 - Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not the biggest fan of Metroidvanias, but this is a damn good game. It’s a real shame that Ubisoft disbanded the development team behind it, because I would have liked to see what they came up with next.
