Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises. I think what certain people mean by "depth" in villain characters is specifically that they have redeeming qualities. That's why they complain about characters who've (allegedly) committed unforgivable crimes being fleshed out despite *asking* for it.

Maybe it’s just me, but when I start a show, I go in ready for what *IT* has to say, not what I WANT it to say. If I end up not liking that statement that’s fine, but why treat it as bad ONLY because it didn’t agree one-to-one with specific audience members? That’s not how analysis works 😑

Honesty not sure why these two shows, of all the shows I’ve seen discourse about, feel like the ones with the most expectations levied against them coming in. Like, WHY do people expect such things out of these shows that they don’t for others? Is it because *vivziepop* made it?? like 🤷‍♀️

Lot of people came to Helluva Boss expecting the story to be a cautionary tale that punished infidelity and lust* with extreme prejudice, and have never stopped raging when it wasn't that kind of show. *I think there's a reason why the relatively easygoing Ozzie is the most recurring Sin.

I don't think enough people talk about how the entire hotel crew were about to willingly accept their deaths halfway through Hear My Hope.
