Brains are so f'n weird. I don't know WHY, but my brain picked out a song my mother would have listened to 30-40 years ago. I looked that song up &I remembered most of the words. I found more songs by the artist, & I know all the words to many of these. I am certain I haven't heard them in 30+ yrs.

"Butterfly Effect" is by far my favorite piece I've ever drawn. I know I keep sharing it, but I just hope it brings joy when people see it. (Plus I don't have a whole lot of new art to share.) #paleoart #sciart

Library Friends: My book is now SEVEN WEEKS OLD and I am getting asked... a LOT if I can get my book into School Libraries (especially Jr. High and High School) to encourage young artists. My publisher doesn't really do this, so how can an author make this happen? What steps must I take? 1/2

I still have a lot of medical bills to pay, but it might be nice to be able to buy a new tablet so I can get back to work on my comics/bigger commissions. I hate having to do this every day. I’m sorry for anyone that actually reads these posts.

Watercolor Tips: • Embrace the chaos. It gets wild and you can let it. • The less you try to make it look like a different medium the better. • Start with cheap materials & as you get the hang of them replace them with nicer stuff. This is true for paint, paper and brushes. • Intentionally have fun.

I wish she didn't have to do the screaming part. But the part of Dainty's early morning ritual that has her sleep on me and purr brings me a silly amount of joy.

Had one of those productive weekends, but it was the stuff that I don't usually do so I was exhausted after. But I managed to forget to do a lot of the little things I complete on the weekends, so wish me luck going into this week. 😅

This is also going to hurt the freelancer and self taught markets imo. The reason that broke random kid from no where was able to discover and hone his skills in 3D, etc. creating a new future for himself and his family was because of how accessible these parts became.

Also. I gotta call a cardiologist tomorrow. I hope I picked a decent doctor. I HATE dealing with doctors, but these symptoms are bad enough my sister told me not to fuck around. PLEASE let this doctor be better than my norm. 🤞 I already don't know what to do with Dainty if something happens to me.
